It all started when we were toddlers...we would be asked what we wanted when we grow up. We'd say to be a fireman, a doctor, a supermodel or an astronaut. Whatever it was, we already had something big in our own little minds.
I started out a blog because I had a goal to relive my writing habits and simply share it to the world. At the back of my mind, it wouldn't hurt if my blog would become successful and be known around the globe. And it wouldn't be bad if my writing talent can extend to writing international best seller books or articles. If I will be given a chance to feature well known inspiring public figures and tell their stories in my blog, that would be a huge bonus. If that means retiring at an early age just to do what I love would be a dream.
This all started with a simple goal of becoming a writer. My mind didn't take a huge leap right away. Somehow, my goals just keep on getting bigger and better as time goes by.
As we become adults, we are torn between following what we truly want to achieve versus what we think we can. We end up being afraid of dreaming big because setting goals far off into the future makes it more impossible to attain.
Why continue getting stuck to a meaningless job, to a tyrant boss, or to a stressful workplace that does not feed your hungry soul? We can’t deny that what we are after is the financial stability more than the quality of job that we have.
We choose our 9 to 5 cubicle life more than the dream of following and living our passion because our salaries pay for our needs.
This is why quitting your job no matter how much you hate it is not a top option. There is just too much risk in letting go of the stability by choosing the unknown result if you follow your passion.
So whenever you hear stories of successful people who quit their jobs and pursued their calling, remind yourself that those have immense sugar coating in them. What those stories should highlight is not “quitting their jobs”, rather they should focus on the “hustle of how they lived their passion WHILE working at their daily jobs (no matter how much it sucked) before they finally quit to build their self made businesses. “
Just yesterday, I attended the Lifestyle Entrepreneur Summit 2019 here in Philippines. This was a gathering of people interested in harnessing online business at the same time learning from people who have proven that it actually works! They have introduced the various models that we can learn to fully equip ourselves with choices on how to get out of the financial rat race and into the freedom of living our lives untrapped from employment or business failures.
Now, what do you get after attending a summit full of aspiring Filipinos yearning to take action and bracing themselves to do what must be done to succeed? Empowerment. Inspiration. Courage.
A line of speakers who have shared how their lives have changed have introduced their proven methods on how to succeed. Yes we're talking about multi-millionaire speakers sharing their thoughts from ebook writing, Amazon selling, affiliate marketing, copywriting techniques and FB ads strategies. These guys know how to HUSTLE and CRUSH it! Here's the common denominator that these successful speakers shared where most online entrepreneurs can relate to...
Millennials of today, also famously known as the “selfie” generation, have been described as privileged, entitled and spoiled in multiple articles around the globe. Perhaps, it was because they were born with smartphones right next to them that their lifestyle tremendously evolved around technology and social media.
However, many would contest that these negative depiction of their generation are all pure misunderstandings and the key to truly getting to know the youth of today is to simply bridge that gap with constant communication.
So when our company invited us on an event to volunteer as mentors to students as they pitch their business modules, I did not hesitate to join and find out myself how the students of this generation has evolved...

Starting from how we were raised by our parents, my sister believes in the traditional concept of doing well in her studies in order to get the best jobs out there. From the very beginning, her eyes were trained to look at the top of the corporate ladder because she knew that’s where she belongs.
She did well at school and was taught to perform well with the given instructions much like how a typical employee would do in a company. In her mind, the goal is to work on a big company and be successful in doing so. Remember how Robert Kiyosaki would say, why climb the corporate ladder when you can own it? Let’s just say, it never crossed her mind to own one.
Growing up in an average income generating household, my sister would always plan so far ahead on what she wants to purchase for herself. This was to give her time to save money since we couldn’t afford to splurge...
